What is BankBridge?

BankBridge lets your AI agent answer questions about your real bank data. Instead of exporting CSVs, pasting statements into a chat window, or keeping a spreadsheet up to date by hand, you connect your bank accounts once through a secure link flow. After that, Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Gemini CLI, OpenAI Codex, Windsurf, Continue and more than 20 other MCP-compatible hosts can look at your accounts, transactions and investments whenever you ask.

You can ask things like "how much did I spend on food delivery last month?", "which subscriptions went up in price this year?", "what does my cashflow look like for the last six months?", or "how is my portfolio doing against what I put in?". The agent calls BankBridge, gets live data from your bank, and answers in plain language, with charts or tables if your host supports them.

BankBridge ships twelve read-only tools out of the box: list accounts and balances, search transactions by merchant or description, filter transactions by date, amount, category or account, break down spending by category, merchant, month or week, detect recurring subscriptions, compute monthly cashflow, and pull investment holdings and investment transactions with gain and loss. Access is read-only, so an agent can never move money. Every query fetches live data from your bank; BankBridge does not store your financial data.

It works for solo setups and for developers. Personal users paste one connector URL or a bearer key into their AI app. Developers building multi-user apps can use OAuth 2.1 with Dynamic Client Registration and PKCE, so each of their users connects their own banks.

Pricing is simple: $5 per month, or $50 per year, for each connected bank. There is no free plan. Cancel any time from the dashboard.

Setup takes a couple of minutes: create an account, connect a bank, and add the connector to the AI app you already use.

BankBridge is built by Great Work LLC.

What problem it solves

People want help understanding their money, but AI assistants cannot see their bank accounts. Getting data in means exporting statements, cleaning up CSVs and pasting them into a chat, and it goes stale right away. BankBridge gives the agent live, read-only access instead.

Alternatives & competitors

An alternative to budgeting apps like YNAB or Monarch, manual spreadsheets, and pasting PDF statements into a chat window: your existing AI assistant becomes the finance app.

What is KrokFin?

KrokFin is a free website that gives investors everything they need in one place. Market news is summarised in brief, with an explanation of what each story means for an investor. Free calculators cover compound interest, financial independence (FIRE), inflation, investment goals, dollar-cost averaging, investment fees, passive income, emergency funds, loans and mortgages, deposits vs investing and bond yields, each with instant results, charts and an optional PDF. The Learn section walks through investing basics step by step along an investor path, from first principles to instruments and strategy, with a plain-language glossary and a financial literacy quiz. Broker reviews help Ukrainian investors choose where to invest.

The flagship tool is Krokfolio, a free personal financial planner. You enter each thing you own as one item (stocks, ETFs and funds, crypto, bonds, cash and deposits, real estate, precious metals, pension funds, a business or your own types), plus loans, monthly income and spending. Krokfolio then shows a year-by-year projection in today's money and answers the key question: when could you live off your money? You can choose how to count it (spend your savings down to a chosen age with a reserve, follow a withdrawal-rate rule, or live on income only) and see a range of outcomes drawn from historical market data. Add life events such as stopping work earlier, selling a flat or a market crash, compare scenarios side by side, get answers to common money questions from your own numbers, apply optional Ukrainian tax rules and save a PDF report.

Krokfolio needs no account and runs entirely in your browser: your amounts, plans and scenarios are stored and calculated on your device, and encrypted backups stay under your control. It only goes online for exchange rates and, if you switch them on, live prices, which send ticker symbols only.

Built in Ukraine, KrokFin is available in Ukrainian, English, German, French, Spanish and Italian. Market news and broker reviews are published in Ukrainian and English. Content on KrokFin is educational and does not constitute financial advice.

What problem it solves

Private finance planning and management should stay really private, free and easy.
