unscene

unscene helps friends decide what to watch and make a movie-night plan together. Instead of passing suggestions back and forth in a group chat, a host starts a room and invites the people they watch with. Each person answers movie and TV cards privately. The room brings those choices together so the group can compare shared options, rank choices and choose a date.

The starting point is the people in your room. A random movie picker can suggest a title without knowing whether your friends would watch it. In unscene, everyone gets a say. Your personal watch history stays private while the group works toward a shared pick. This makes it useful when friends keep returning to the same question: what should we watch next?

The room flow has three parts: make a room and invite your group; answer privately to find movies you might all watch; then rank and plan a night. Friends can contribute their own answers before the group settles on an option. A shared choice and a date turn a list of suggestions into something your group can actually plan around.

You can also use the solo watch quiz to look for your next watch before making a group room. Sign-in is required. A free account lets you begin; room members sign in to join so their answers stay with their accounts. The public site explains the different room paths and includes help for getting started.

unscene is for friends planning a movie night, households choosing something together and movie clubs preparing their next screening. It runs in a web browser. You do not need to describe it as a video-calling service or a synchronized streaming player: it helps you decide what to watch and plan when to watch it.

unscene does not stream movies or TV shows. Watching the selected title still happens through your own viewing arrangements. Visit unscene.watch to explore the room flow, try the solo quiz or read the help pages.
