Drywall Calculator turns room measurements or known wall and ceiling areas into a whole-sheet purchase quantity. It subtracts repeated door and window openings, supports triangular gable or sloped-wall additions, lets you choose common or custom panel sizes, applies an explicit cut and breakage allowance, and always rounds the final sheet count up. Enter an optional local price per sheet to estimate panel cost. The tool supports feet, inches, meters, centimeters, and millimeters while keeping net area, selected panel coverage, and assumptions visible.
What problem it solves
Estimating board from floor area can undercount or overcount a project. This tool measures wall and ceiling surfaces, subtracts only openings that do not need board, and converts net area into a transparent whole-sheet order.
