EclipseStay Spain

EclipseStay Spain is a travel marketplace built around the total solar eclipse of 2 August 2027, whose path of totality crosses Spain and North Africa. Property owners and hosts in the best viewing zones (Tarragona, Castellón, Teruel, Zaragoza, León, A Coruña and more) can register interest for free and list stays for eclipse travellers. Travellers and astronomy enthusiasts compare destinations along the path and join the waiting list from €5, with priority access when bookings open. The platform runs in English, Spanish and Arabic to serve visitors from Europe and North Africa.

What problem it solves

During a total solar eclipse, accommodation near the path of totality sells out years ahead and prices spike. Eclipse travellers struggle to find verified stays in the right locations, while local hosts have no easy channel to reach this global demand.
