About I Am DrugFree

I Am DrugFree is an iPhone app for people who want a private place to track sober time, reflect on daily patterns and keep useful coping tools close. The core experience does not require an account or a public profile, so using the app does not mean joining a social network or sharing a personal recovery story.

The app brings progress tracking, a journal and short exercises into one place. Counters and milestones help you see time passing, while widgets keep useful information within reach. You can record cravings and triggers, notice what happened around a difficult moment and return to those observations later. These records are intended for reflection, not as a diagnosis or a judgement about your progress.

When you need a small pause, guided breathing and brief grounding tools offer something concrete to focus on. An urge timer and your own reasons for making a change can help you organize the next few minutes. You can use the journal to describe what helped, what felt difficult and what you want to try next. The app is designed to fit around the support and routines you already have.

An optional Sober Coach provides AI-assisted conversation through Google Gemini. This feature works online and requires the relevant adult consent before use. It is separate from the private, on-device core tracking experience and should not be treated as medical advice or emergency support.

I built I Am DrugFree for people who prefer a personal tracker over a public feed. It can accompany a break from a substance, a longer-term sobriety goal or an effort to understand a habit. Your goals can change as you learn more about what works for you.

The app is free to download and offers optional in-app purchases. Current prices and terms are shown in the App Store and inside the app. The website also provides practical recovery resources. I Am DrugFree supports reflection; it does not replace professional treatment, supervised withdrawal or emergency care.
