OldRevive

OldRevive is an online AI restoration tool for family albums and scanned prints. It repairs scratches, tears, stains and fading in one restoration pass. A separate colorization tool can add estimated colors to black-and-white photos. The service runs in a web browser, so there is no desktop software to install.

Start with a JPG or PNG scan or phone photo of an old print, up to 20 MB. When photographing paper, lay it flat near a window, turn off the flash, avoid glare, and hold the camera straight above the print. Keep the edges visible and use the clearest source file available. Keep an untouched copy of your original before uploading.

Generate a free watermarked 2K preview in the original aspect ratio. The original remains available beside the restoration. Drag the comparison slider to inspect damaged areas and faces before deciding whether to buy. You can download the watermarked preview without purchasing a clean file. Free previews are limited, and signing in provides additional free attempts.

A single clean 2K download costs $6.99 and does not require an account. Optional 4K regeneration costs $9.99, creates a new result, and allows a supported aspect ratio to be chosen. A completion email is sent when the new file is ready. Account packs cost $19.99 for 10 credits or $29.99 for 20 credits. Credits work across different photos: a 2K photo uses one credit and a new 4K generation uses two. These are one-time purchases, with no subscription or automatic renewal.

Uploaded photographs remain private unless the owner chooses to submit a result for gallery review. Unpaid previews expire within 24 hours. Paid results remain downloadable for 30 days, and signed-in users can revisit paid photos in their history.

AI restoration is an interpretation, not a forensic recovery process. Check faces carefully because details can change. Colorization estimates colors rather than recovering historically verified colors. OldRevive is intended to help families evaluate a restoration before purchasing the clean file.
