Benchrate

Benchrate is a set of Excel and Google Sheets workbooks for makers who sell physical work. Each workbook helps a shop price materials, reject rate, platform fees, and labor before quoting a job.

The sheets are built for shop quotes. They include materials and blanks, including yield loss, so a quote does not count only the finished piece. They treat reject and remake rate as real cost, because failed pieces still use materials, machine time, and labor. They include marketplace and payment fees, since platform cuts and payment processing come out of the sale. They include labor at your hourly rate, so making, finishing, and packing time is counted as cost. Trade-specific lines can cover costs such as cure time, screen setup, embroidery digitizing, and weeding.

Workbooks are organized by trade. Individual workbooks and a full shop bundle are sold as digital downloads with instant delivery. After download, open a file in Microsoft Excel or upload it to Google Sheets. There is no subscription and no app to install.
