Mac App Index

Mac App Index is a directory for discovering Mac apps. It presents apps in rankings based on recent upvotes and all-time favourites, alongside a section for newly added apps.

Visitors can browse apps by categories such as Utilities, Productivity, Menu bar, Writing & notes, and Developer tools. Featured listings show app descriptions and screenshots, while app entries may also display a category, price information and upvote count.

The site also offers hand-picked collections, including Menu bar essentials, Free apps and Open source, as well as practical walkthroughs and roundups in its guides section. App makers can submit an app for listing.
