About WTAgent
WTAgent is a free, open-source (MIT) command-line coding agent. It drives a dedicated browser profile where you sign in to ChatGPT Web, Claude Web, DeepSeek, Gemini, Grok, Kimi or Zhipu GLM, turning that account into a terminal coding assistant like Codex or Claude Code. In agentic loops it reads local files, edits code, runs shell commands and tests, and verifies results itself. No model API key, MCP, tunnel or browser plugin. Install with npm i -g wtagent on macOS, Linux or Windows (WSL2).
What problem it solves
Codex and Claude Code access is gated or rate-limited, and model API keys cost extra despite an existing ChatGPT/Claude subscription.
