About Tinybird

Tinybird is a platform for building fast, real-time analytics and data APIs over large volumes of data, without the usual burden of managing complex data infrastructure. Built on the blazing-fast ClickHouse database, it lets developers ingest streaming and batch data, transform it with plain SQL, and then publish the results as low-latency API endpoints that applications can call — turning raw events into production-ready analytics features in hours rather than months.

The core workflow is elegant. You pipe data into Tinybird from sources like Kafka, data warehouses, files or direct events; you write SQL queries (organized as "pipes") to shape and aggregate that data; and you expose those queries as secure, parameterized REST APIs with a click. Because everything runs on a high-performance columnar engine, queries that would crawl on a traditional database return in milliseconds even over billions of rows, which is exactly what user-facing analytics, real-time dashboards and personalization features demand.

What makes Tinybird compelling is that it abstracts away the operational pain of real-time data — no clusters to provision, scale or babysit — while still giving developers the full power of SQL and ClickHouse. It's a favorite for use cases like in-product analytics, real-time leaderboards, usage-based billing, anomaly detection and operational dashboards, where speed and freshness matter. With strong developer ergonomics, version control for data pipelines, and the ability to go from prototype to production seamlessly, Tinybird fills a genuine gap for teams that need real-time analytics at scale but don't want to become full-time data infrastructure engineers to get there.
